‘This is the farce of electoral democracy in the country. We are troubled by issues. Not only the farmers’ but many others. The government does not pay attention. Yet, every five years they come to us saying please vote for us. End of the day, none of them do anything. Not only BJP, even Congress or any other. There is a spectacle going on in the country. Unmindfully but willingly, people participate in the spectacle. But the spectacle does not result in anything.’
